Hazard Mitigation Plan

Related to Emergency Management is hazard mitigation, which is the sum of the many actions that can be taken at the local and regional level to reduce or eliminate the risk to human life and property from a variety of natural hazards. For the GWRC, hazard mitigation is addressed in the Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan; please visit https://gwregion.org/environment/hazard-mitigation for more information on the Plan and the ongoing work in 2022 to update the Plan.
