Members of the public who wish to make a public comment at the meeting can either 1) register to make a verbal comment or 2) submit comments in advance to be read by staff. Please register to speak at the meeting or submit comments to be read by staff at least two hours in advance by sending an email to gibson@gwregion.org or calling (540) 642-1579. Comments will also be accepted during the meeting’s public comment period from those who did not pre-register. If you provide a public comment during the meeting, please be sure to send your name and contact information to gibson@gwregion.org so that we may ensure it is part of the official record and respond to you accordingly.
Agenda
Due to the nature of the Declaration of a State of Emergency due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pursuant to Code § 2.2-3708.2 this meeting is to be held by electronic communications, via the web platform GoToMeeting. The catastrophic nature of this declared emergency makes it impracticable and unsafe to assemble a quorum in a single location, and the purpose of this meeting is to discuss or transact the business statutorily required or necessary to continue operations of the public body.
