GWRideConnect

GWRideConnect is GWRC’s nationally-recognized transportation demand management (TDM) program. The goal of the program is to promote, plan, and establish transportation alternatives to the single occupant vehicle (SOV), improving air quality, reducing congestion, and improving quality of life.

GWRideConnect takes cars off the road, reducing vehicle trips by 1,158 trips and reducing vehicle miles traveled (VMT) by 60,089 miles each day!

For more information, please visit the GWRideConnect website.

For the last several months, GWRC, with support from Foursquare ITP, has worked to develop an FY25-FY29 Commuter Assistance Program Strategic Plan for the GWRideConnect program, with input from the community, local governments, and other stakeholders through a public survey, stakeholder workshop, focus group discussion, and Commission presentations. The draft plan is now available for public review and comment. To submit feedback on the plan, please contact Leigh Anderson, GWRideConnect Program Director at leigh.anderson@gwregion.org or (540) 642-1573. We are accepting public comments on the draft plan document until November 15, 2023. The final plan, incorporating feedback received during the public comment period, will be presented to the GWRC Board for adoption at their November 27, 2023 meeting.
